Hello!
I am a London based graphic artist and part time Illustration/Graphic Design lecturer at the University of East London.
I specialise in producing work that reduces complex information into its simplest, most elegant and accessible form by means of research-lead design. Through my work I have explored a wide range of themes, from quantum physics to feminism, from the the theory of evolution to religion. In essence,by arranging shapes, colour, text and the space in-between, I endeavour to communicate ideas that are as thought provoking as they are visually stimulating.
I wholeheartedly believe that expertly applied visual communication can be more than a mere marketing tool. It can help affect genuine change by democratising knowledge, aiding the dissemination of information. It can and should be used to spread ideas that empower individuals, creating a better society that can benefit us all and indeed the world at large.
I have produced work for the BBC, The Open University, The Mayor of London, The Royal Society and The Arts Council. I have run art based workshops for the V&A, Okido Magazine and Extinction Rebellion. My own work has been exhibited and sold alongside Tracey Emin, Peter Blake, and Gavin Turk at London’s Art Car Boot Fair.
Thank you for looking!
